How To Play
Story Warz rules
Story Warz is a game of deceptive storytelling. Some players submit true stories, then everyone tries to figure out who actually lived each one.
1. Start or join a room
The host creates a room and shares the link or room code. Players join with a display name. Classic rooms are for Story Warriors and optional audience players. Live show rooms are audience-only.
2. Submit your stories
In classic rooms, each Story Warrior submits the required number of true stories before the game starts. The host can also share a video call link so everyone can jump into the same Zoom or Meet.
3. Read the story and guess
Each round reveals one story. Everyone locks in a guess for who wrote it. If the story is yours, you still submit a bluff guess so the room can try to read you.
4. Score the round
In normal rounds, a correct guess is worth 2 points. The story owner gets 1 point for every wrong guess. In double-point rounds, those values double.
5. Finish or go to overtime
After the scheduled rounds, the highest score wins. If Story Warriors are tied and unused stories remain, the game goes to overtime until the tie is broken or the room runs out of stories.
Audience mode
Audience players do not submit stories. They guess along on their own leaderboard while the main Story Warrior board keeps its own score.
